My name is John McCashland. I am currently a narrow-body Captain and serve as a new-hire pilot mentor at a major airline. I bring over 25 years of aviation experience spanning military service as both a fixed-wing and rotary-wing pilot, corporate aviation flying Citation jets, and now commercial airline operations.

Aviation has been an incredibly rewarding career, and I consider myself fortunate to have followed this path. However, early in my journey, I did not have access to mentorship or guidance. As a result, I learned many lessons through trial, error, and significant personal investment. Those experiences ultimately inspired me to establish this company—to help aspiring aviation professionals achieve their goals more efficiently while avoiding the common and costly mistakes I encountered.

I have a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to succeed in the aviation industry, both from a pilot’s perspective and within the maintenance career field. I also recognize that each individual’s path is unique. While goals may differ, I’ve found that many aspiring aviation professionals share a common challenge: they are either unsure where to begin or uncertain how to progress from their current position to the next step—and ultimately to their ideal career.
